French spa line Cinq Mondes has launched Eau du Brésil, a new fragrance developed by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti.
Brazilians would bathe under waterfalls in the heart of the Amazon Forest to commune with the refreshing and purifying power of water. They would take time for spiritual renewal and regeneration through the remarkable therapeutic potential of nature. [...]
“To capture the freshness of the Banho Ritual, I imagined a harmonious match of fresh lime pulp and white wood softened with coconut water. Like a shower surrounded by nature, I wanted the sensation of gentle, fresh water that was both natural and exotic.” — Olivia Giacobetti
Cinq Mondes Eau du Brésil is available now at Beautyhabit, $61 for 100 ml.

That’s a miracle, a fragrance inspired in Brazil which is not the usual caipirinha and Rio de Janeiro cliche! Also, made by Olivia Giacobetti, this sounds very promising!
Plus, I really like her Eau Egyptienne for Cinq Mondes. I keep meaning to buy a small bottle (and hope they’ll do this one in a small size too).
I always wanted to try eau egyptienne, it seems wonderful indeed.
Warning though — these are VERY light. More like body mists than real perfumes.
So it follows Giacobetti style as usual. Her Iunx fragrances also seems very light to me.
Exactly.
This sounds wonderful, and I am tempted to buy it blind but will try to resist and get myself a sample asap. Eau Egyptienne is in my collection, and I wish Beautyhabit would carry the other three from Giacobetti; any advice where to find them?
Good question. So far as I know the Pluie d’Aromes collection is no longer made, although several of their current beauty products sound like they might be very similar — Beautyhabit has an orange blossom body mist that sounds a lot like the one Giacobetti originally did for them. But you’d have to ask Cinq Mondes.
Thanks, Robin, this is helpful, and I’ll try to inquire further with Cinq Mondes.
Good luck!
