Carner Barcelona Costarela

Spanish niche brand Carner Barcelona will launch Costarela, a new fragrance promising "that unique feeling of freedom of the open sea..."

The notes feature bergamot, saffron, marine accord, sand accord, Virginia cedar, ambroxane and amber.

Carner Barcelona Costarela will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I have just realised that there is not a single review of Carner Barcelona here. Have you tried them?

I tried El Born & Palo Santo. I think Kevin has tried more than I have, but can’t remember for sure.

        Not very impressed, then?

Well, I don’t know — I thought both were well done, neither inspired me to write a review. But I smell so much stuff, it’s quite possible that very good fragrances don’t get reviewed because they don’t capture my attention on the day I try them. So I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Oh, yes, now I can imagine the hundreds of samples in your drawer!

It’s not so bad as that, but if something doesn’t grab me, there’s a good chance I send it on to someone else who might like it better. And then they may or may not review it 🙂
