Indie brand Fiele Fragrances has launched Boswellia, a new incense fragrance.
Inspiration: Frankincense has been prized for thousands of years for its ability to calm the mind, slow the breath and aid in deeper concentration and focus. It is a sacred, healing oil.
Interpretation: Our B O S W E L L I A comes from the resin of Boswellia Serrata, a species of trees wild grown in India. This is a scent based on Frankincense, also known as Olibanum. The aroma can be described as balsamic, slightly spicy and the fragrance of incense. We balance its meditative qualities with bright citrus notes, warm sandalwood and comforting vanilla.
Additional notes include bergamot, tangerine, ylang ylang, jasmine, myrrh, cedar, tonka bean and musk.
Fiele Fragrances Boswellia is $85 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

This sounds nice enough – I will look for this even tho I am not familiar at all with this house…
Kevin reviewed a couple of them, he really likes the brand.
I tried several from this house and liked all of them, loved two of them! Looking forward to testing this one. Sometimes vanilla can rub me the wrong way, but in the dry down of an incense scent it might be just the thing.
I hope I get to try it too, I do love incense.
Urban Outfitters should carry the line as their Space collective division in Williamsburg carries the line.
