Dolce & Gabbana have launched Light Blue Love in Capri (shown above; a flanker to 2001's Light Blue) and Light Blue Pour Homme Beauty of Capri (shown below; a flanker to 2007′s Light Blue Pour Homme).
Light Blue Love in Capri ~ "At the opening of the fragrance the sun-kissed joy of crisp Lemon and Mandarin hint at the brilliant colour and clarity of the island, the Lemon being a staple at the dinner table. At the heart of Love in Capri, the signature of creamy white florals inspired by the flower of Capri – Caprifoglio. Its soft Honeysuckle sweetness fits beautifully and is further expressed with creamy soft Almond blossom and the the warm sensuality of Jasmine Sambac. This solar floralcy shines at the heart of the creation much like the island in full bloom. Soft musky notes and Cedar wood underlie the textural floralcy and highlight the pure beauty of the flowers at the heart. A joyous and beautiful olfactive image of the Island." In 50 or 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
Light Blue Pour Homme Beauty of Capri ~ "The crisp youthful juiciness of the generous citrus oil obtained from the Cedrat is combined with other high quality citrus oils of Sicilian Bergamot and Bitter Orange, creates a new tonic freshness. Reminiscent of the citrus groves of the island. Cool green Neroli and a bright marine accord mix beautifully with the citrus oils and a touch of vibrant Sichuan Pepper gives the wearer a feeling of the fresh island breeze coming in from the crystal blue sea. A strong masculine signature is created with an overdosed woodiness in the dry down of the fragrance, especially Cedar wood and Vetiver. Hints of resinous Myrrh and musky notes complete the deeply masculine, but truly elegant signature; that has a hint of Latin sexiness." In 75 ml Eau de Toilette.
