More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector editions from Serge Lutens, Acqua di Parma, Givenchy and Yves Rocher.
From Serge Lutens, L'Eau Froide in the numbered Cold War edition, now available in Paris. (via Serge Lutens at Facebook)
From Acqua di Parma, Rosa Nobile Eau de Parfum in a refillable special edition: "The extra pure glass surface features the rich corolla of the queen of flowers in an elegant stylised version. The 24kt gold creates a three-dimensional contrast between light and shade, accompanied by the gold label and cap." Due to launch in Harrods in January, £124. (via diarydirectory)
From Givenchy, a limited edition of Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette. 75 ml, £62 at John Lewis in the UK.
From Yves Rocher, the 2015 holiday limited edition of Comme une Evidence. In 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €22.90 at Yves Rocher in France.
Uncle Serge is still definitely weird.
Aye.
да.
Excellent.
Ha! Love it.
As a person born and raised in the Soviet Union, I find that Serge Lutens bottle very difficult to appreciate.
I am quite sure you are not the only one. I gather it’s meant rather tongue in cheek, but still, I do wonder exactly who is going to find it amusing, much less find it amusing enough to want to own one.
Still, they probably also don’t make many of them…
Yes, nothing says “Happy Holidays!” like a bottle with the hammer and sickle on it. Whatever is he thinking?
Maybe for May Day holiday?
I didn’t lived this, but even for me it was offensive and of poor taste. What was he thinking in celebrating a regime that killed and opressed so many people?
Ever notice how many limited editions Aqua Parma comes up with for the same (well done) scents.
I am beginning to think the true rare Aqua Parma bottles are the plain ones which are not any months’ “Special Limited Edition.”
The plain Aqua Parma bottles are nicer than most of their companion bottles from other brands at the department store counters anyway.
I like the “plain” AdP bottles too…and they have a nice feel in the hand.
