French niche line Histoires de Parfums has launched Fidelis, a new unisex fragrance in the brand's Edition Rare range.
Gold is wedded to copper, the metal dedicated to Venus, the goddess of love and seduction.... A lingering kiss in the hollow of the wrist from Coffee, Saffron and spicy Amber. Thus Love, born in the heart of a Rose entwined with Patchouli, surrenders to the delights of intoxicating Oud.
Additional notes for the fruity floral include cardamom, cumin and raspberry.
Histoires de Parfums Fidelis is available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum, $125.

This brand does very good scents and is affordable. The notes sound wonderful, but the name Fidelius sounds like source for the cliche dog name “Fido” to me. It conjurues up the image of two boxers getting to know each other’s butts rather than the moon and sun.
Still, that butt sniffing leads to alot of cannine friendship and coupling so may be this Fidelius can lead to some two-legged friendly sniffing.
Ok then!!
People find the weirdest things to take issue with…
Please be nice!
But the name ISN’T ‘Fidelius.’ It’s Fidelis*. (And, yes, obviously the root word means loyalty and dependability.) I’m confused.
*Don’t let’s forget our third declension, class.
Oh, but I did forget the third declension!!
I was with it til oud. no.
I LOVE 1889. Think I’ll have to get this one, sounds great!
