Nature-based skincare brand Weleda has launched a trio of fragrances under the name Eaux Naturelles Parfumées / Jardin de Vie: Jardin de Vie Rose, Jardin de Vie Grenade and Jardin de Vie Agrume.
Jardin de Vie Rose ~ inspired by the scent of Weleda Wild Rose Care products, with rose, rose geranium and ylang ylang.
Jardin de Vie Grenade ~ inspired by the scent of Weleda Pomegranate products. I will update with notes when I can!
Jardin de Vie Agrume ~ inspired by the scent of Weleda Sea Buckthorn products, with orange, davana and vanilla.
Weleda Jardin de Vie Rose, Jardin de Vie Grenade and Jardin de Vie Agrume are available in 50 ml.

This is interesting. I have been using several products from the Wild Rose series for a very long time and their fragrance is really nice, not as great as it was in the past (they reformulated it slightly few years ago) but still very well done. Pomegranate line’s scent is an acquired taste, very tonka-bean/coumarin centric, but it could work as a perfume. I wonder if these fragrances will be available easily in the U.S.; Weleda products are sold atWhole Foods and similar stores, so I hope they will bring them in.
I liked the Wild Rose oil, and love the Sea Buckthorn hand cream (creamsicle!!) so I’m hoping these will come to the US too.
I can’t wait to try these. I’ve grown to love many of the Weleda Body Care products, especially the Wild Rose and Sea Buckthorn in both the body lotion and in the creamy body wash. In the Summer months I enjoy the Citrus fragrance as well. They have a slight herbal aspect, and I find them especially wonderful for layering and mixing. Lush Flying Fox or Rose Jam shower gel (just a few drops) mixed with either the Wild Rose or Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash is truly luscious, enhanced further with layer Body Lotion. Actually they mix well with many other fragrances. In hot weather I like blending Jurlique Jasmine Body care lotion or Korres Jasmine Body Milk with the Weleda Citrus lotion which is bright with lime zest. I was excited to try the Weleda Primrose line, but found it’s medicinal scent wholly off-putting. I agree the Pomengranate fragrance is an acquired taste, but I imagine it is popular. I do find that my skin really loves the Weleda body care products: they are light in feel but very hydrating. I hope the fragrance is reasonably priced as most of the Weleda products are.
Thanks — I had been wondering about the Primrose line!
I don’t know what the US price will be, but they’re about 19-20 euros.
I am a fan of the Pomegranate fragrance! have to admit that I bought some of their products primarily because of that scent.
I love their pomegranate and sea buckthorn, so will definitely be testing these if/when they come to the States. Their bath/body oils are so fantastic during the harsh winters here in Michigan.
Jardin de Vie Grenade is vaguely unsettling when you read ‘grenade’ in English. I am a fan of Weleda body oils too and I love the deep blue glass bottles. I have the evening primrose oil but it’s not as nice as the other oils….it’s the only one that my dogs don’t try and lick off my shins when I wear it. They also go mad for Lush and Origins body lotions! And dogs are known for their astute sense of smell!
I used the Sea Buckthorne line, and the prospect of a fragrance sounds pleasantly intriguing! 😀
This news is pretty exciting! I really love their range. The Sea Buckthorne has been a hand cream favourite for about 10 years now and I also love their rose oil. Hopefully they’ll arrive at the local Bio store.
