Really looking forward to trying this–hope it’s not a big meh. When Celine was speaking of the galbanum opening and the wonders of technology, does that mean it’s faux galbanum? Don’t recall if the genuine article is an IFRA no no.
The baccarat bottle is stunning–want!
I took it to mean probably a galbanum fraction, probably removing the bitter edges of galbanum and leaving the fresh parts, similar to how patchouli has become such a complete “de-clawed” perfume note.
I second galbanumgal’s thoughts on this. I never wore the original Norell but I love all the notes in this one and look forward to trying it. Finally, a fragrance with no grapefruit, tuberose, leather, tobacco, or oud! And the bottle is exquisite.
The pear is dampening my enthusiasm, but hey, maybe it will surprise me 🙂
My mouth was actually watering when watching that !?!?
Very sensory and my wallet in half open .
Keep a tight grip on that wallet until you smell it 🙂
