Thierry Mugler has launched Cuir Impertinent, a new addition to the Les Exceptions series.
The material: leather, a classic note in perfume-making, brings to mind Russia and the galloping cavalcades of Siberian horsemen.
Aromatic collision: star anise, a genuine color explosion that strikes a flash of light through the darkness of tanned leather. Its surging note of green adds lively freshness.
The result: brazen sensuality, a modern addiction, all the insolence of a leather with an aromatic freshness.
Thierry Mugler Cuir Impertinent can be found now at the Mugler USA website, $225 for 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Impertinent leather. I love it.
Better try it first 😉
Haha – I don’t necessarily expect to love the scent, but I do respect a good name. Impertinent is one of those rare adjectives that haven’t been used yet, and for that, I applaud them.
Hard to believe it has not been used yet, but I think you’re right — we’ve had insolence but not impertinence 🙂
It’s $185 in Canada and refill is $127. We’ll be launching it in September I believe. I’ll have to look at the marketing. I love this collection and people are eating these fragrances like crazy. It’s hard to keep them in stock and I’m being honest.
The SA mentioned this would be a fall release, can’t wait to smell it at The Bay.
Yup! We’ll probably receive it mid August some time and officially launch it first week of September.
