Prada's Miu Miu brand will launch their debut fragrance, Miu Miu, in August. Miu Miu will be fronted by actress Stacy Martin.
The floral fragrance was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. Notes include lily of the valley accord (jasmine, rose, green notes) and akigalawood (Givaudan patchouli fraction described as spicy and woody).
Miu Miu by Miu Miu will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. In the US, it will be exclusive to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman for the rest of the year.

Loving the bottle. Very 60’s like 🙂 The notes..um..it could be interesting 🙂 Will give it a sniff 🙂
And Happy Independence Day, to all of u writers on NST 🙂
I am loving the bottle too. Obviously have not seen it in person, hope it’s as fun as it looks in the picture.
“Miu Miu by Miu Miu” reminds me of the old Meow Mix commercials. Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow….
Ha!
As long as it doesn’t smell like chicken or liver…it should deliver!
Nice.
Tom and Lorenzo (http://tomandlorenzo.com/) have a cat named Miss Miu Miu Prada who likes to talk into the microphone during their podcast.
Also, that bottle is super cute.
Cute bottle
I think the most remarkable thing about this one is that it’s taken this long for Prada to introduce a fragrance for the Miu Miu brand.
I’m not fond of prominent LOTV, so I’ll probably pass on this one, but the bottle does have a certain retro charm!
As mercurygirl mentioned, I’m also surprised that it’s taken them so long to launch a Miu Miu fragrance…I would have thought that by now there would be a pillar fragrance along with a Miu Miu Noir, a Miu Miu Eau Fraiche, etc etc. I adore lily of the valley scents and am always on the lookout for new ones, so I will be sure to try this, although lotv mixed with patchouli, (er, Givaudan’s “patchouli fraction” ha ha) gives me a little pause. I am officially in LOVE with the bottle, which brings to mind Cacharel’s Lou Lou a little bit, right? Not the shape, but the opaque blue glass and the red cap. (And Lou Lou sorta rhymes with Miu Miu…coincidence lol?) Anyway, I’ll look forward to trying this.
This Akigalawood fraction was tested in Brazilian markets with Natura men’s fragrance of the last year, Urbano. If this is the material that gives urbano its cannabis aroma, it’ll be an interesting mix with the lily accord.
The bottle makes me think, somehow, of Cacharel Lou Lou.
That bottle is kinda cool with a retro vibe. Hopefully I can get a smell once its out.
The bottle is very Miu Miu – ugly cute. Love it.
