UK-based indie line Papillon Perfumery will launch Salome, the brand's fourth perfume, in August.
The notes feature bitter orange, jasmine, carnation, rose, Africa stone, oak moss and styrax.
Papillon Perfumery Salome will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

It’s supposed to get to 109 degrees today (but only 108 tomorrow. Ha!) I’m wearing Brazilian Mango Grapefruit by Pacifica.
Did not mean to post this here. Stupid Smartphone.
Sorry!
Carnation and oakmoss, worth a sniff if I ever came upon it…
Same here.
Jasmine, carnation, oakmoss? This may be the Papillon pour moi.
I love Angelique and Anubis.
This one sounds really interesting – can’t wait to try!
Would be interesting to compare to Byredo’s 7 Veils. The many faces of Salome!
Oh this sounds wonderful! I haven’t explored any from this brand yet but really need to rectify that ASAP!
I think this line is fantastic. Can’t wait to get to Vancouver in August where it is available, and buy some Anubis – and hopefully have a sniff of this new one, too.
Looking forward to this one – love Anubis and Tobacco Rose!
I received a sample of this today and it’s really good. Very intense and similar to musc kublai Khan by serge Lutens only not quite as fecal on my skin. It is a sensuous skin scent but on my skin veers towards cumin in the dry down which is the only reason I won’t be buying a full bottle. This is an interesting niche brand and easy to buy here in the UK. However I’m a lover and follower of uncle serge and I think he’s already done it and done it better. Some will love this and it’s worth a sample…..go quality great spillage and lasts for hours!!!
Oh I mean good quality and great sillage! iPad is a nuisance sometimes!!
I’ve only begun exploring perfumes but so far Tobacco Rose is my favorite rose. It’s not complex, but I’m in love with it and it makes my entire day better to wear it. Angélique is beautiful and subtle. At some points, it reminds me of Serge Lutens’ Bois de Violette, which is one of my favorites so far. Anubis and Salome are wonderful too. Anubis I share with my husband. I adore everything she does!
