Giorgio Armani will launch Eau de Cèdre, a new fragrance for men, in August. Eau de Cèdre is the fourth fragrance in the Pour Homme series that includes Eau Pour Homme, Eau de Nuit and Eau d'Arômes.
Eau de Cèdre features notes of bergamot, lemon, violet leaf, cumin, sage, cardamom, cedar, black tea and suede.
Giorgio Armani Eau de Cèdre will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Like the sound of it.
Me too, but I guess I should be ashamed that I’ve never tried any of this series (?) And indeed had forgotten all about it.
I’ve only tried the original (relaunched?) Pour Homme; it’s actually quite nice, a slightly more buttoned-up and less intensely lemony Eau Sauvage, and with a soapy/mossy undertone. It’s a scent of its era, but not nearly as dated or chest-beatingly macho as many of its ilk.
I’m not sure how I feel about a more cedar-centric version. I like my cedar abrasively sharp and full-on (hamster cage! pencil shavings!), and most mainstream men’s fragrances don’t go that direction with it. The market needs another low-key masculine cedar like it needs another ladylike rose, in my opinion.
I like pencil shavings & hamster cage too…but we are the minority!
