Elie Saab will introduce two new additions to La Collection des Essences: Essence No. 6 Vetiver and Essence No. 7 Neroli. Like the others in the series, they were developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
Essence No. 6 Vetiver ~ "While all ELIE SAAB olfactive creations are crafted as a close collaboration between French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and Elie Saab himself, Essence No. 6 : VETIVER is the result of a quest not only for perfection but also for a personal accord. Elie Saab sought a scent that he could wear himself. Francis Kurkdjian therefore captured a woody, elegant allure using two precious essences of vetiver from Haiti and Java, uplifted by bergamot from Calabria, grapefruit, papyrus and cloves."
Essence No. 7 Neroli ~ "The orange blossom flower lifts the air of Lebanon. Also called Neroli, this name comes from the 16th century Italian princess who reputedly bathed in water perfumed with the delicate, white flowers. When Francis Kurkdjian discovered a source of orange blossoms cultivated in Lebanon, he began work on Essence No. 7 : NEROLI as an essential addition to La Collection des Essences."
Elie Saab Essence No. 6 Vetiver and Essence No. 7 Neroli are available in 100 ml.

Any idea where you can find these in North America? I’ve gone looking online and can’t find anywhere to sample or purchase them, other than Harrod’s.
No idea whatsoever, and have never heard anything much about them, either — you’d think there would be more chatter if they were fantastic? Or have you heard anything?
They are not in the US yet, I don’t think. Only a few Elie Saab bboutiques in Europe and Middle East. I tried all of the first 4 ones that were released, they are all gorgeous. Very well done.
Yeah, just 2-3 luxury department stores in the world and ES boutiques. Not in the US yet from what I know.
Thanks!
Well, there was the Luca Turin Style Arabia column – he loved the Gardenia. And I’ve heard plenty of buzz from perfumistas about the Ambre. (I believe the Gardenia and the Ambre were the two Denyse liked, as well.)
Oh, then I just missed the chatter 🙂
I would love to try these!
Me too.
Turin’s Style Arabia Gardenia review must have put this range on the map for the many of us who never see these! Oh well…
