FINALLY — some diversity in a perfume ad. Not that I see many of them; I don’t read magazines that have perfume ads 🙂 I want to try Totem Blue; it sounds like a sibling of the discontinued Ananas Fizz.

    Oh, and … ugly bottles!

This looks so Benetton to me — they are good about diversity in their advertising as well, but also the whole feel / color scheme of the ad is Benetton-ish.

I also thought of Benetton and Desigual who has a stunning model with vitiligo (the skin pigmentation disorder). And I thought the bottle was a flashlight for a sec.

Yes…for anyone else who wants to see the model:

And I see what they were trying to do with the bottle, but yeah, didn’t work IMHO.

Yes, as someone who was a teenager in the 80s, my first thought was the United Colors of Benetton!

Nice to see Kenzo return to its original 80s aesthetics!

Robin I see how it can bring memories of Benetton, but Kenzo had this graphic look going in the 80s, at the same time (if not even earlier) as Benetton.

Now about the frags, I really dislike pineapple un perfume, almost as much as you don’t enjoy pear… hehehehe

And I do hope they pack dine punch! Kenzo hasn’t done anything ‘strong’ since the Jungle series IMHO!

I wasn’t paying attention then so will take your word for it! And agree, they’ve been doing “sheer” for ages, time for something different.

I like the bottle! Though I admit it does look like a hybrid firecracker-dumbell-robot. I think Lubin’s Idole took the right look for a totem- type frag! But this is ok for totem-gone-digital!
