UK-based perfumer Ruth Mastenbroek will launch Oxford, her third fragrance, in July.
Oxford is a unisex scent, and was inspired by Gitanes, the French cigarette brand favored by Mastenbroek's fellow students when she attended Oxford University. The notes include bergamot, galbanum, basil, jasmine, clary sage, rosemary, amber, vanilla, patchouli, vetiver and oud.
Ruth Mastenbroek Oxford will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
(via cosmeticsbusiness, parfumaria)
Update: Oxford will also be in 100 ml.
I like the sound of this 🙂
I do too. I know a lot of people loved her first fragrance.
Interesting. I do like the smell of Gitanes (and Gauloises). I wonder why most of the worls seem to favour the more dull-smelling blond tobaccoes.
It’s very hard to tell if it’s really meant to smell like tobacco or if the “inspiration” is looser than that?
