Posted by Robin on 30 March 2015 11 Comments

Fragonard Santal Cardamome

Fragonard has launched Santal Cardamome, a new addition to their Le Jardin de Fragonard collection. The last in the series was 2014's Rose Ambre.

A woody, amber and spicy eau de parfum. Pepper, cardamom and rose berries as head notes resting on a heart of laurel, incense and chilli berry with a base of benjoin, sandalwood and musk.

Fragonard Santal Cardamome is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €30.

You’re kidding, right? (In case anybody doesn’t know, that’s almost certainly what rose berries is)

      Love the packaging!

I have high hopes for this, since the name is two of my favorite notes.

Geez, pepper, chili berries and incense? I’m getting a vision of eating a taco on the steps of the Cathedral…guess this one is not up my alley!

Seeing this house mentioned reminded me that I keep wanting to get a some of the sweetpea fragrance they did last year, Pois de Senteur, in that adorable little confetti spotted bottle, and I now see that Amazon has a few of them for a good price! I might order one of those. I wish I could find someone who has actually smelled it first, tho…
