Guerlain will launch their annual limited edition version of Muguet this spring. The fragrance celebrates the May Day tradition of offering sprigs of lily of the valley to loved ones. You can see older Guerlain Muguet editions here: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014.
The 2015 edition was developed in collaboration with the Camille Tharaud porcelain studio in Limoges, France, and features a lily of the valley relief design on bisque porcelain, finished with a green ribbon.
Notes for the fresh floral include bergamot, jasmine, rose, muguet and lilac.
Guerlain Muguet 2015 will be limited to 1,659 numbered bottles. It will be available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette, €430.

Update: the description from Nordstrom, where the Muguet fragrance is $605... "This year, Guerlain will be reunited with its timeless and emblematic Flacon Fleuri, which hosted the original Muguet fragrance in 1908. Maison Guerlain has combined tradition and innovation to create the first perfume bottle in white porcelain. With its pure lines and floral motif, this new interpretation has a budding freshness and elegant simplicity, echoed in the first notes of Muguet. To add to the delightful charm of this porcelain bottle, a delicate ribbon adorns its neck just like the bow of a present adjusted one last time before offering it as a lucky charm to a loved one. A fresh and floral fragrance."
Okay, I do like lily of the valley but this is out of my price range.
Ditto! Don’t adore the Guerlain version in any case, just want that bottle 🙂
I was thinking the same thing! Maybe I’ll find an empty bottle on eBay in a few years (although, I doubt it, and at what price?!)
At almost $460, I won’t even bother contemplating whether or not I’m interested in the fragrance. I want that bottle for a vase, though!
🙂
At least Guerlain has dropped the pretense that the perfume is made from some sort of harvest of lily of the valley flowers. (The Muget note is not actually derived from the flowers for which it is named).
There are so many lovely lily of the valley scents, at so many different price and style options.
Very pretty bottle with a touch of cuteness 🙂
I love the bottle and I also love lily of the valley. But at over £300? I think I’ll give it a miss. No matter how good it is I couldn’t bring myself to pay that for a perfume.
I smelled one of their Muguets a couple of years ago, and while it was nice it was not all that far from Coty-land….
Who came up with the magic number 1,659?
LOL:) I don’t care for lotv..so price doesn’t matter to me in this case. It would make a lovely vase…or toothbrush holder! I kid.
