More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector items from By Kilian, Aftelier and Fendi; new concentrations of Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire and Cheryl Stormflower; and a new edition of Jimmy Choo Exotic.
From By Kilian, Good Girl Gone Bad, Straight to Heaven and Bamboo Harmony in bottles designed by artist Sophie Matisse (who has done collector bottles for the brand in the past). Due to launch in May, 50 ml for $195 each. (via press release)
From Aftelier, a new design for the brand's sterling silver solid perfume compact: "I designed this sterling silver case to replace our old rectangular ones that had sold-out. The new design is an elegant square with rounded corners, shallower and larger than its predecessor. Patricia Curtan, illustrator and printmaker whose images have graced most of the Chez Panisse cookbooks, created our stylized "wood-cut" rose and leaf." Available at Aftelier in a variety of fragrances, $245 - $450. (via press release)
From Fendi, Fan di Fendi Blossom in the 'Fur Blossom' edition: "Inspired by the latest trends of the Fendi accessories, Fan di FENDI Fur Blossom showcases the iconic element of the 2014 season: the fur pompom." At Harrods in the UK, £56 for 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
From Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire Mon Eau de Voyage, a 'delicate mist" you can spray on skin or clothing or travel accessories. In 75 ml Eau de Toilette, at Nocibe in France.
From Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (née Tweedy, formerly Cole), a new Eau de Toilette version of Cheryl Stormflower. Due to launch in March, with mandarin, nectarine, freesia, peach blossom, vanilla, white musk and sandalwood. (via diarydirectory)
From Jimmy Choo, a new iteration of the limited edition fragrance Jimmy Choo Exotic. Same notes as the 2013 version but new blue bottle, $90 for 100 ml at Nordstrom or Macy's.
*giggle* “Fur blossom,” sounds like a euphemism. 😀
🙂
I’m waiting for someone to name a perfume “Merkin.”
It will happen at some point!
The Bamboo Harmony art is quite cute but I am not felling the other two. :/
That LPRN had been a travel exclusive I think. It’s a flimsy aluminium spray canister. Edt really? The packaging just shouts deodorant…
I do like those bottles but they don’t seem very Kilian to me?
And yes, it does look like deodorant.
Was about to comment that I didn’t see anything By Killian, even though it’s in the introduction. Then I went back through. It’s weird that these aren’t even in the same collection. Maybe they’re bestsellers.
They’re lovely bottles and I enjoyed straight to heaven but not at regular pricing.
I think he might’ve chosen one best seller from each “collection”..?
The new edt version of cheryl stormflower has different notes from the orginal this time the notes are
Top notes: lemon, bergamot
Heart: rose, peony, jasmine
Base: sandalwood, vanilla, musk
Thanks.
Cheryl who?Who is that?…Google.OH.
Ha!
Kind of liking those Kilian bottles:). Pink fluffs are always a no for me! lol.
The By Kilian ones are my favourite from this set, but I do like the colour of the Jimmy Choo one as well.
