Jo Malone will launch Incense & Cedrat in February. The new fragrance was inspired by Omani incense and joins the Cologne Intense Collection.
Incense & Cedrat was developed by perfumer Marie Salamagne, and features a headspace note from the Boswellia sacra (frankincense) tree. Additional notes include lemon, pepper, elemi, labdanum and benzoin.
Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat will be available in 100 ml Cologne Intense.

Sounds good though I wish those intense versions came in the 30ml bottles….
Same here!
They have been releasing dry body oils for the Intense line. Maybe they will do one for this scent too!
Thanks!
I wish this were Incense & Orange instead. I’ve been trying out Orange Sanguine layered with incense fragrances and I think there’s something to it.
Well, you could always layer this one 🙂
Jo Malones are practically designed for layering right? I might just go have a look once this is released in February but I think my collection is getting a little too incense heavy.
I like cedar, not so much incense and not so much Jo Malone.
Cedrat = citron, but if you don’t like Jo Malone or incense that won’t help 🙂
Cedrat is actually citron.
Oh! I also always thought it meant cedar. Good to know.
My 1st thought actually was WHY NOT CEDAR INSTEAD??.I don’t like Citrus/Incense combo’s so much…
Which other scents combine citrus (of any type) and incense. I can’t think of any off the bat – other than Shaal Nur, maybe? Mind you, Ubar is pretty good (:
Nearly every incense perfume has at least some citrus. But citrus-heavy incenses aren’t all that common, and this might not turn out to be one either. You could include Serge L’Eau Froide, nothing else other than Shaal Nur popping to mind right now.
Oh, and then Tauer Incense rose came to mind…lots of orange.
Yes, I guess I meant as a dominant note! I agree, the citrus in Incense Rose is pretty heavy. I’m not sure why, but the scent takes on quite a cold, dry and somewhat acidic feel on my skin. I guess there are a few incenses that just read as too dry for me. (MR was mentioning Parfum Sacre being quite dry in the open weekend forum…)
