Love the sound of the Parisian Millefleurs! Must try to test that.
The ones I tried quickly on paper were nice (not challenging, obviously, but nice) and it’s too bad they’re only in large sizes, and not really cheap thrills at $59 each…these two do sound worth trying but would be more excited if they were in 30 ml.
Ditto! Bit pricy… Oh well. Maybe I will just happen upon some free samples, that would probably suffice 😉
Looking forward to Black Absinthe if I ever run into it.
It’s not as easy to find C&E here as it once was, but I’ll probably run into it eventually.
I’m really surprised to read your comment, Robin – you’re US-based aren’t you? & they’re an American company?
Yes, but they went through a bankruptcy & then were sold to a new parent company. There don’t seem to be as many stores as there once were, at least near me…don’t know if that’s true all over the US.
The one at the mall within walking distance from my house closed down late last year – they couldn’t even wait until after the holidays to eke out one last shopping season! Truth be told, i used to visit the store to look at the Vera Bradley collection but ever since a Vera Bradley boutique opened at another placemI frequent, I pretty much limited myself to looking at the discount table.
Oh OK, thank you Robin -they seem to have just as many UK stores as they always had & as I’ll be in Glasgow at the end of the month I’ll pop in & check these new ones out. Will be interesting to see if much has changed in their set-up since I last visited.
The bottles have an appropriate turn-of-the-century look.
Yes, they did a good job w/ the packaging.
