Kate Spade will launch Walk on Air, a new fragrance for women, in March.
Walk on Air was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, who noted:
I wanted to reimagine one of my favorite floral themes, the one at the origin of my love of fragrances: lily of the valley. As a teenager interested in both perfumes and botany, I was enamored with the images I found in books depicting their delicate white bells and the elegant, lush coupled leaves that protect them.
Notes include linden blossom, bergamot, maiden’s hair fern, neroli, Solomon’s seal, lily of the valley, magnolia, jasmine, narcissus, crinum lily, iris and violet leaf.
Kate Spade Walk on Air will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml ($55-95) Eau de Parfum and in a rollerball ($25).

These notes are very appealing. With that name I am afraid it may be too light and airy, tho…but I will try it if I have a chance…
I have yet to like a Kate Spade, but Rodrigo Flores Roux could do a great lily of the valley. I’ll try it too!
Strange name for a scent featuring numerous plants that grow in the shade of the forest floor . . .notes are appealing but don’t say ‘airy’ to me.
Despite that, bet it will be airy!
Maybe the plants are searching for air?
bah duh bum!
🙂
The notes sound amazing! I just wish he’d made this for a different house — I don’t really trust Kate Spade to want the kind of perfume that I do.
Ditto. Does not help that according to WWD, they’re looking for a younger, more casual customer (“There’s definitely a casualization going on with the brand”).
