Italian fashion house Brioni has launched an eponymous fragrance for men (it is unrelated to the 2009 Brioni fragrance, which is now discontinued). Brioni by Brioni was developed in-house, and the bottle is designed to reflect how fabric moves.
Brioni opens with the cool crispness of Sicilian Lemon cold pressed from Italy, Cassis, juniper berry, rosemary and a touch of red apple for brightness.
The heart is built around the Magnolia combined with Italian Iris and the coolness of citrus leaves providing depth and a bridge to the sensuality of the back. The richness of this fragrance comes from an assortment of deep wood notes, cedar wood, Australian sandalwood, with the addition of leather in the background. Saffron provides a suede like feel to the wood nuance, which is all rounded with a touch black licorice and milk.
This fragrance fully captures the DNA of Brioni. It is a one-of-kind fragrance aimed to a perfect gentleman and that expresses "true beauty" through the outstanding design and craftsmanship of its bottle as well as the high quality of the juice ingredients.
Brioni by Brioni is available now at Neiman Marcus, in 75 ml Eau de Toilette for $275.

That cap looks like a piece of yummy fudge. Apple is a note I tend not to like. For $275 I could definitely do without the apple!:).
Agreed about the fudge looking cap. I rather like the look of the bottle as a whole. I’ve not tried scents with apple, but this does sound interesting.
Ditto, lost me at apple, and definitely at the price! Ouch!
I have a feeling the bottle looks better in person, but that’s just a guess. Agree about apple. Why?
Going to just go ahead and blame DKNY:)
$275 is the new $47.50 of my youth!
LOL!! So true.
Haaaaa. Yes!!
