Isabey has launched a new version of their 1924 fragrance, Lys Noir.
Lys Noir plays with the contrasts around the lush and heady scent of lilies. The aromas of black pepper enhance the lush touch of narcotic flowers: with their spicy animalic facets, tuberose and narcissus add to this mysterious aura. In the base, patchouly utilizes its dark sensual attraction in a game between ebony and a chord of milky sandalwood. A forbidden game gently wrapped in a hint of musk.
Additional notes include heliotrope.
Isabey Lys Noir can be found now at First in Fragrance in Germany or Jovoy Paris in France, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €135.

Wantwantwantwant! I love this house, love the list of notes and though it isn’t shockingly original, gosh I love that name! *swoon*
Sold!
Seriously, I’m sure it will be in wider distribution soon, I think it’s just getting in stores this month.
Beautiful ad! I’ve not paid any attention to this house, but theyou are out of my financial reachelp I’d say. A pity.
I reallllly like that bottle…goodness, very nice:).
I have not tried the last few, but even back in the day Isabey Gardenia did not seem worth the steep price. I would not lose any sleep over it 🙂
Uh-oh – I love lilies and lily perfumes, and I have never heard of one that has black pepper and ebony in it! I also adore narcissus and tubey, so this is a must-try for me.
Hope you’ll find some then!
