Carven has launched Carven Pour Homme, a new spicy woody aromatic fragrance for men.
If Paris chic were a trail, it would be that of CARVEN POUR HOMME, a racy and elegant essence.
A fragrance with woody, spicy, aromatic notes in the Carven tradition of great men’s fragrances, yet with a burst of modernity that will carry it through the years.
Violet Leaf dominates the top notes, its spontaneous freshness underscored by that of Grapefruit.
A spicy trio of Nutmeg, Cedar and Sage lends warmth to the heart.
Vetiver, with its many rich facets, lends its distinctive signature to the base, softened by milky notes of Sandalwood.
Carven Pour Homme was developed by perfumers Patricia Choux and Francis Kurkdjian.
Carven Pour Homme is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products.

This one sounds right up my alley!
I recently got Carven Vetiver for my husband and I must say I was tempted to order a bottle for myself to use after he’s finished his.
(this version http://tienda.murlana.es/vetiver-de-carven-p-668.html)
I also liked the older “Vetyver Dry” flanker of the mid 90s.
I assume that they are under a new distribution deal or something, but I does sound promising to hear somebody like Kurkdjian getting involved with the brand.
My fingers are crossed hoping this one is both a hit for them and a must-have for me! 😉
That version of Vetiver will disappear…Carven says they have not reformulated it, but of course, who knows.
Their fragrance license went to Groupe Jacques Bogart in 2010 and they’ve been redoing everything; Kurkdjian did the 2 women’s perfumes (Carven Le Parfum & Carven L’Eau de Toilette) too.
He looks like a younger William Dafoe.
He’s got the cheekbones…
LET ME AT IT!!!!! Grapefruit, Sage, Nutmeg, VETIVER!?!?!? I DIE!
🙂
