British perfume house Atkinsons has launched The Contemporary Collection, featuring three new fragrances: Rose in Wonderland, Lavender on the Rocks and Posh on the Green. The last fragrances from the brand were Oud Save the King and Oud Save the Queen.
The Contemporary collection, a haute parfumerie collection encapsulating the British Luxury Essence of the house. The great classics of the perfumery treated with Atkinsons's vanguard spirit & a whole lot of eccentricity. The house statement of modernity.
Rose in Wonderland ~ "Sharp green nestled in the soft petals…a rose to beware of…. with blackcurrant buds, geranium and vetiver spiking the centifolia rose and rose dew accord." [Additional notes include amber.]
Lavender on the Rocks ~ "Pure double-distillation of lavender, shaken not stirred, icy fresh… with notes of geranium, basil and oud." [Additional notes include rose and gaiac wood.]
Posh on the Green ~ I will update with a description when I can find one! ["A preppy chic perfume of sumptuously stylish sportsmanship. An alfresco scent created from the greenest notes in perfumery. Posh on the Green is a freshly cut homage to the great British lawns –this is a woody, green and unisex perfume with verdant intensity." With coriander, petit grain, galbanum, geranium, vetiver and cedar.]
Atkinsons Rose in Wonderland, Lavender on the Rocks and Posh on the Green are available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum; the first two can be pre-ordered now at Barneys, $210 each.

They DO sound nice and the bottles are pretty too!
Awfully spendy, but yes, look nice, & like the names.
I dunno. I could do without the odd James Bond reference. I feel like “shaken, not stirred” is nearly as passé as the endless variations on the “Got Milk” campaign! (Although, admittedly, James Bond is iconic and Got Milk and it’s ilk did not create any icons.)
True!
The price is steep. 210$ would be around 170-180€, that’s a lot for something like this
Agreed. I wouldn’t mind trying the lavender one, but for that price you get a Tauer bottle, or a Lutens bell jar (if bought in Europe), or one of the cheaper Malles… there are certain expectations when the pricing is like that.
Great names & gorgeous bottles!
I’ll take one of each, please 😉
I still haven’t tried any of their scents…haven’t even seen them.
