Italian niche line Profumi del Forte will launch Prima Rugiada, a new fragrance inspired by the 'floral atmospheres of Mediterranean gardens' and developed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour.
PRIMA RUGIADA is a flowery, talcy, fresh fragrance that draws on the heritage of scents and perfumes preserved in the gardens of Forte dei Marmi, a symbol of the Italian seaside dolce vita. In this Tuscan town immersed in the vivid green of the pinewoods, nestling between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the marble peaks of the Apuan Alps, Bertrand Duchaufour leads an unconventional expedition of olfactive exploration. Off the beaten path, because he turns his nose not to the sea and the beach but to the gardens, to the magnificent parks of the villas, to the green spaces filled with woody, herbaceous and floral scents that bond invisibly yet indissolubly to our recollections of vacation pleasures and the positive mood of the summer season. Duchaufour translates the bouquets of scents collected on his walks from garden to garden in Forte dei Marmi into a parfum as pure as dew, as refreshing and stimulating as a spring sun shower, as rich and complex as only a land so generous with its natural beauties and sensorial scenarios could produce.
A composition with a floral heart, warmed by notes of cumin and black pepper, punctuated by the fresher accents of cardamom and the aromas of mint and oregano; enlivened by the effervescence of the aldehydes, the grassy pungency of tomato leaves, the summery sweetness of the mirabelle plum; all mounting to an unexpected finale, the enduring impressions of D’Annunzio’s Mediterranean coastal pinewood revealed by the parting of a curtain painted in discreet washes of balsam fir and musks.
Additional notes include galbanum, lemon, bergamot, pomelo, red berries, muguet, cyclamen, rose, jasmine, violet flower, freesia, water accord, oakmoss, patchouli, amber, gaiac wood, Atlas cedar and vetiver.
Profumi del Forte Prima Rugiada will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, €148.

Pumped the brakes at mint, oregano and tomato leaves. Notes that aren’t for me, oh well. Oregano ruined Ambre Sultan for me..I think it was overused in that scent, just imo.
But you don’t even know if you can smell them in this one, until you smell it 🙂
Oh wonderful, I’m looking forward to trying this. I love Profumi del Forte for their excellent quality in ingredients and packaging, and everything I’ve smelt of theirs is extremely well done, if not just wonderful. Roma Imperiale is in my top 5 probably, and By Night White was a must have too. So yay 🙂
Hope this will be as good!
