Actress Sofía Vergara will launch her debut fragrance, Sofía, in April. The scent was made under a partnership deal (not a standard licensing arrangement) with Parlux.
Sofia is a floriental, and was developed by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic. The notes feature blackberry, cassis bud, plum, violet, rose, orchid, woods, vanilla and sandalwood. Per Ms. Vergara,
I have orchids and roses because those are my favorite flowers, and they’re Colombian. I wanted to bring a little bit of who I am, my ethnicity, where I’m from, and I thought it was very cool to be able to get flowers from Colombia actually into the perfume.
Sofía by Sofía Vergara will be exclusive to HSN through July, and will be available in 50 and 100 ml, concentration unknown.

HUGE Modern Family fan, so I’ll definitely try “Gloria’s” signature scent if and when I see it. Haha. : )
I have never seen it, but I’m probably the one one 🙂
WHAT?!?! I’ve just discovered the Unicorn! Haha! ^_^
Ha!
As much as I like Sofia, I refuse to buy another celebrity fragrance. They all smell so much alike to me. You smelled one, you smelled them all is my philosophy. The only luck I ever had with a celebrity fragrance was Jennifer Lopez’s Deseo. I know a lot of people didn’t care for it, but it smelled amazing on me. But, I hope Ms. Vergara’s fragrance does well. She deserves it.
Oh, I don’t know…I don’t generally find them any worse than other low-range mainstream scents. There have been a few really good ones — and I thought Deseo was really well done too.
