Vera Wang has launched Be Jeweled Rouge, a new fruity floriental fragrance for women. Be Jeweled Rouge is a flanker to 2013's Be Jeweled.
"Be Jeweled is about attitude and a certain sense of glamour, fun, self-expression, feeling ready and spirited and happy… ready to take on the world." Vera Wang
Sparkling red currants and wild berries burst with excitement as hints of mandarin add a flirty and fun effect. The floral heart blooms with a creamy vanilla orchid wrapped in lush gardenia and pink peony for a glamorous touch. An addictive and lasting impression lingers with a layer of creamy praline wrapped in cashmere woods and skin musk.
Vera Wang Be Jeweled Rouge is available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum. It is currently sold at Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada, and in the US it will be exclusive to Kohl's.

Dear me what a cheap looking bottle.
It’s not my favorite either.
Now, see, it stirs my Tacky Bottle Magpie Syndrome.
I am glad to see her getting away from the plastic flowers-and-tulle look that the Lovestruck bottles had, which did not trigger my Syndrome. Apparently plastic flowers are too tacky even for me!
And I am also glad to see a 30ml option.
Interesting since Lovestruck is in the prestige range, these are basically for discount stores.
Well, there is no doubt I am more of a discount girl than a prestige one, so they’ve got that demographic well locked down! 😛
I kind of love the Be Jeweled bottles in pictures, but if I remember rightly they look horribly tacky in person. The perfume inside sounds indistinguishable from every scent in the Vera Wang Princess series, and from every single bottle on the shelves at Victoria’s Secret.
I just like Vera Wang could have done so much better with fragrance than they have. I heard the first one was respectable but dull, and the rest have been pure tween.
The massive success of Princess, I’m sure, made them rethink the fragrance business. They’ve never managed so well with their prestige fragrances…Look was a dismal failure. Not sure how Lovestruck did.
Vera Wang…what the heck fire is up with your horrible bottles?
Ouch. Vera Wang attaching her name to something carried at Shopper’s Drug Mart and Kohl’s? Seems like a step down. I think my wife will stick with her Bond No. 9 perfume.
