Three videos for the new Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina, a fragrance inspired by Ladurée macarons. First up, the fragrance commercial. Below the jump, a quick food image video, followed by perfumer Olivier Cresp and chef Lemains Vincent of Ladurée talking about the fragrance and making (and eating) the matching macaron.
Yum! Have you tired the new fragrance?
No…don’t think it is in the US yet. But I want one of those macarons!
Fun!
Both the commercial and the interview.
Le chef looks quite yummy! He is much more enticing than the macarons 😉
(I admit tham my feelings towards macarons are quite lukewarm: they are very pretty treats, but don’t taste as good as they look, at least in my opinion – picky spoiled me!)
I haven’t smelled La tentation de Nina yet, but for the moment my ultimate macaron-like perfume is la petite robe noire…
Also l’heure bleue makes me think of macarons (and Roberts borotalco), which might explain why it is my least favorite among the classic Gs.
My Macaron-like perfume is Quend Vient La Plue. Have you tried that?
No, I haven’t tried it, but now I’m reading all about it!
I just saw picture of the bottle and it is quite stunning!!
*droools*
I love macarons…used to get a passionfruit/chocolate one at Fauchon in NY that I loved. But true that many of them look better than they taste.
So… lemon, raspberry, rose… maybe almond? I didn’t go look up the “new fragrance” thing. I’m actually interested, not that this is a wildly inventive thing, but maybe it will be nice.
I am girly enough to be entranced by the pink and gold color scheme.
Guessing it will be too sweet for me, but admit the Laduree connection makes me curious.
That particular ad campaign does nothing for me, too much hot pink, LOL. I do, however, enjoy sweet fragrances so I’ll keep my eyes out.
Yo Marjorie Rose! We so saw this one coming! What next? Beignets Poudre?
Olivier Cresp is cute!
