Le Labo has launched Benjoin 19, the new city-exclusive fragrance for Moscow. The scent was inspired by the moment in Tolstoy's novel when Anna Karenina first saw Count Vronsky at the railway station in Moscow.
The notes for the unisex fragrance include benzoin, olibanum, amber, cedar and musk.
Le Labo Benjoin 19 is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

City exclusive? ARgh. This sounds like it might be really good.
It’s actually been out since September (I’m very late!) so not sure why it wasn’t in the last round when they made them all available for a month, but maybe it was and I missed that too! Or there’s always next year.
City exclusives seem self-defeating, as well as deeply annoying. Fortunately, they are also expensive enough to put them on the don’t-even-try list. Of course, having said that, when I was in London I could not pass up a sniff of Poivre 23. For once it was true to its word, actually being peppercorns and red pepper. Okay for what it was; even the SA was apologetic about how expensive it was, though.
At least they make them widely available once a year, wish all the other brands doing this sort of thing would follow suit!
But yeah, they’re expensive too. I love the Tubereuse but would never buy it.
Is this Moscow exclusive only for straight people?
Ouch!
Drat! This wasn’t available in September/October…you would think that Le Labo would debut this then so that more people can try it. Oh well…money saved!
I JUST got a sample of Lys 31 and it’s gorgeous! I ordered a decant. So buttery and happy.
