As a bit of a unicorn chaser, some beauty: designer and book maker Irma Boom shows off the book — all embossed images and text, no ink — she made for Chanel No. 5 and the No. 5 Culture Chanel exhibition.
You can read more about the book at Wired. It will go on sale at Amazon next year.
I want it. I need it. Why don’t I have it yet? I’m already tired of waiting. ○_○
It’s gorgeous! And I don’t even care about Chanel No. 5. I had never heard of her & am going to have to investigate her other work.
So gorgeous! And I don’t even care for Chanel No. 5, at all. But I want a copy, badly! I don’t even want to know the price of it. I mean, it’s a piece of art! ○_○
Then I won’t tell you.
(but it’s under $200, so not as bad as you might imagine)
Oh, not bad at all! Ok, a copy will be mine, and I could not be more excited about it! Thanks for posting! I would have had no clue of its existence. 😀
Ha, always happy to help people spend money!
ditto–really lovely visual/tactile combo.
I also want that book so badly. I adore it !
It amazes me how No.5 inspires people in so many different ways. This is the true mystery of No .5 in my eyes.
I love you No.5 !!!!!! ( Even if you have changed over the years…… )
She sounds like she loves it too 🙂
