Tableau de Parfums, a collaboration between Andy Tauer of Tauer Perfumes and filmmaker Brian Pera, continues their Woman's Picture series (see Miriam & Loretta) with Ingrid:
Ingrid is a rich floral fragrance, inspired by classical scents of the fifties, full of contrasts. Draperies of citrus and spices open the stage for sensual frangipani and roses, with hints of lily of the valley adding softness to the flower heart. These rich feminine notes are anchored by a chord of precious woods and resins in the base. Vanilla, tolu and sandalwood add an exotic twist, and underline with the contrasting lines of dark cistus and smoky balsamic styrax the feminine melody.
Andy Tauer on Ingrid: “Ingrid is unique, a strong character, yet soft and feminine. She is a beautiful woman, who developed her style, found herself, she is present and demanding, with a past full of questions, unanswered. Her flower is frangipani. I have no doubt.”
Additional notes include bergamot, orange, lemon, cinnamon and clove.
Tableau de Parfums Ingrid is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, packaged with DVD and 3 postcards ($160) or in a 7 ml Travel spray ($40). It can be found now at Luckyscent.

I’ll have to check it out. Miriam didn’t work for me, and I never quite made up my mind on Loretta, but this one sounds promising. The note description kind of reminds me of Noontide Petals, which I liked.
So far, the regular AT line suits me better than the TdP line, but I will certainly try this too…I do like the concept.
This sounds as if it could be interesting. I have not had good luck with Tauers, whether under his own label or the Tableau de Parfums name. I think Zeta is the only one I have really cared for at all. Nevertheless, the comparison to “classical scents of the fifties” definitely piques my interest.
Plus, frangipani. And love the bottles.
I absolutely love the bottles though I’ve never seen one on person. The only one I’ve sniffed is Loretta and I’ve been out of the loop so much I didn’t even know there were two others.
Well, this one was just made available today, so you’re not that out of the loop! You only missed Miriam.
The TdP has worked extraordinarily well for me… I own the big bottle of Miriam and already used up a purse spray of Loretta. I’m waiting with baited breath to try Ingrid!
Oh good, hope you’ll love it!
