More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.
From Anna Sui, a 10th anniversary edition of Dolly Girl: "Re-discover this lighthearted scent with a new limited edition...Presented in a cute re-usable tin with a heart shaped charm around the neck of the bottle..." £36 at Debenhams in the UK.
From Lanvin, Éclat d’Arpège in the Pretty Face edition designed by Alber Elbaz. In 50 ml Eau de Parfum. (via cosmoty.de)
Another 10th anniversary edition, this one for Givenchy's Very Irresistible: "The bottle is decorated with 10 pink-red roses and contains 10 accords of different roses." (via fashionmonitor)
From Paco Rabanne, the Black XS L’Excès Rock My Skull edition: "One year already for Black XS L’Excès! For this first anniversary, the skull has been evolved into 3 new rock pieces customizing the Black XS L’Excès bottles and providing a sense of rivalry in the process. Icons putting on a show: mustache and top-hat, sunglasses or royal crown... Hanging loosely on a small chain, each skull is on its own and gives additional eye-catching style to every wearer. 3 unique models to customize your IT bag, to add a little pizzazz to a necklace or to attach to your cellphone. You choose." In 100 ml. (via http://www.pacorabanne.com/)
Creepy doll heads/faces, no but I’d sniff the Givenchy:).
The Dolly Girl is creepy but compelling…and the heart charm adds something, LOL…I can see wanting that bottle.
The Lanvin has a certain kitschy charm. I think it might surprise me on the dresser table though, with its eyes watching me! 😉
Totally agree — I like it. That and the Dolly Girl together would be a hoot.
I wouldn’t personally want it but I like the fact that the face is drawn just like Alber Elbaz himself sketches. That is his style completely on the face.
So that last one….accessorizing our perfume bottles now?
Despite being a Deadhead, I am not particularly drawn to it, but I can see a Danger Zone forming. I’d be shamefully susceptible to charms I could rearrange on my perfume bottle.
It’s a great marketing ploy — and putting charms on bottles really does seem to be a big thing lately. Not sure the target market knows what a Deadhead is anyway 🙂
That Lanvin looks so funny!
LOL @ 10 accords of different roses. Just, LOL.
Also, why does the face on the Anna Sui bottle looks different from the Metropolis-looking face on the tin? That drawing on the tin is so much better than the execution on the product.
Don’t know, but agree!
Evil twin. Lol.
Hey, everybody needs one, right?
The Very Irresistible franchise sure is wearing a little thin.
