Comptoir Sud Pacifique will launch the Voyages en Orient collection, a new set of five fragrances: Jasmin Poudré (shown), Épices Sultanes, Bois Royal, Oudh Sensuel and Oudh Intense.
Jasmin Poudré ~ developed by perfumer Violaine Collas, with jasmine, iris and musk. ["On the Euphrates rivers …the aquatic notes of Calamus and fruity Osmantus draw you into the delightful explosion of Ylang and Jasmine Sambac flowers which are tempered by the elegance of Iris of Florence. The long lasting fragrance of this delicate yet sophisticated perfume blends with the sensual pleasure of the mysterious base notes of Musk and Amber." Additional notes include fig, rose, woods and styrax.]
Épices Sultanes ~ also from perfumer Violaine Collas. ["More than a perfume, Epices Sultanes takes you on a delightful walk through the "Grand Bazaar" of Istanbul. First of all, the vibrant colored facets of dried fruits draw you into a gourmand atmosphere scented with spices and roses: smooth notes which vibrate in musical harmony on a warm base of Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood and Oudh. An oriental and addicting perfume." Additional notes include bergamot, saffron, geranium and musk.]
Bois Royal ~ developed by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur. ["On the road again… to Lebanon. A walk in the Cedar forests …a perfume which vibrates through the liveliness and sparkle of the green and aromatic top notes of Cédrat warmed by an almost animal cumin, sublimated by an all enveloping Patchouli in the heart notes. The base notes of Cedar wood and Vetiver, give a discreet elegance alongside a mysterious intensity." Additional notes include bergamot, lemon, geranium, moss and benzoin.]
Oudh Sensuel ~ developed by perfumer Emmanuelle Juilliard. ["A journey into the Persian imagination… the trail of "Oudh Sensuel” immediately draws you into the atmosphere of Arabian Nights.
In the top notes, a powerful velvet rose enfolds the spicy heart of this perfume; the Saffron and the Oudh add to and reinforce the richness, complexity and originality of this unforgettable fragrance.
The Saffron lingers and interlaces with the Musk to blend perfectly in the base notes. This captivating fragrance will tempt your senses with sensuality." Additional notes include sandalwood, patchouli and white musk.]
Oudh Intense ~ developed by perfumer Henri Bergia. ["A journey through the heart of the Arabian mysteries: this rich and subtle perfume is composed of delicate floral scents blended with Oudh, Patchouli from Indonesia and Amber base notes. A captivating, powerful and unforgettable perfume." With blackcurrant, lemon, rose, patchouli, amber, cedarwood, pine and musk.]
I will update with additional notes when I can.

Update: additions above in brackets via comptoir-sud-pacifique.
I just went to the website. There is already a range of products called Voyages to the Orient, which contains Aoud de Nuit, Aouda, Nomaoud, and Oud Intense. So i am a bit confused. Will this be completely replacing that line, or will 4 new fragrances be added into that line with Oudh Intense being a reformulated Oud Intense?
I’m afraid I have no idea if the collections are in any way connected…but the wording is slightly different; the French website uses the English wording “Voyages to the Orient” for the old collection, so perhaps Voyages en Orient will be more of the same, perhaps it will be an all new collection. The packaging is totally different, with a blue outer box for this set.
I can’t handle Comptoir anymore, but I still love my Aqua Motu!
Me too! And Gouvernour, although I forget to wear it. But I never even see them these days…they used to be in a gift shop near me, but no more.
I would usually be right there with you, but hope springs eternal for me with this line that once produced Eau des Artes (which I now have three bottles of and can sleep a bit easier at night). And the fact that vanilla and sweet fruits do not appear to be emphasized only adds to that hope. Yes, I know I’ll probably be disappointed, I have prepared for that, but I think I will put forth the effort and a few dollars and get samples of these.
