Christian Dior has launched Gris Montaigne, a new addition to the La Collection Privée Christian Dior series. Gris Montaigne is also the name of a Dior nail polish that was introduced in 2011.
Gris Montaigne features notes of bergamot, rose, patchouli, jasmine and woody moss.
Christian Dior Gris Montaigne is currently exclusive to Harrods in the UK as part of that store's "Dior takeover". I will update with sizes and concentration when I can, but the others in the series are in in 125, 250 or 450 ml.

Update ~ the description from the Dior website:
And if grey were a perfume?
The olfactory signature of the Couture House’s legendary location, 30, Avenue Montaigne, has become a reality. The perfumer’s response to couture, this sophisticated chypre fragrance is a bold interpretation of the Dior Grey. The Couture Grey featured in the collections since 1947, the Grey Emotion of Christian Dior’s family home in Granville, Pearl Grey like the facade of the boutique on Avenue Montaigne.
Colour becomes a perfume: a burst of citrus, a floral heart of Turkish Rose and Jasmine Sambac from the Indian region of Tamil Nadu, followed by a woody note heightened with Indonesian Patchouli set against an ambery backdrop of moss.
Gris Montaigne is available in 125, 250 or 450 ml.
going to harrods this afternoon then.
Aha, have fun!
This perfume sounds like fun. They just had to release something new to replace Mitzah 😉
I suppose.
Please excuse me for being out of the loop, but why, what happened to Mitzah? Is it out of the line?
Dior is discontinuing Mitzah in a short time.
No matter how beautiful this may be, 125ml as the smallest size is way too much juice for me…
God bless the splits! 😀
Ditto.
Notes say must sniff for me.
I’ve managed to NOT sniff almost all of this collection 🙂
Me too Robin..I need to change that! Just haven’t got to it yet, eh?
I have tried one — New Look, which a reader kindly sent me. And it’s nice, may review it one of these days. But to be honest, not terribly interested in the others — haven’t heard anything stupendous about them, & tired of these big luxury collections that don’t pan out.
Ya, luxuries that don’t pan out=bummer. I did hear some good reviews of that Oud Ispahan but if one is burnt out on oud, then ya, maybe not appealing! lol.
Ah, a Saks near me has a new Dior in-store boutique, with a cool display of the La Collection fragrances; these notes sound worth a stop in there to sniff. I do like some of them, Grand Bal in particular. It’s not what anyone would call especially innovative, but I thought it was lovely. One of the few fragrances where the ad copy seemed like a reasonably accurate description of the fragrance–it is lush and beautiful in an elegant way that’s not unlike a Dior ballgown (https://nstperfume.com/2012/06/08/christian-dior-grand-bal-new-fragrance/). It certainly won’t be mistaken for an Alexander McQueen or a Comme des Garcons fragrance!
(Or rather, a stop in Saks once this goes into wider release!)
Grand Bal did sound pretty!
I dunno, I personally wouldn’t associate those fragrance notes with a name like Gris Montaigne.
Where do you buy the 450ml sizes? They’re not on the website.
I’m sorry but I don’t know…I think they used to be there?
