Bentley for Men, Bentley for Men Intense & Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition ~ new fragrances

Bentley for Men, Bentley for Men Intense

British car manufacturer Bentley will introduce three new fragrances for men in April: Bentley for Men, Bentley for Men Intense and Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition.

Bentley for Men and Bentley for Men Intense (shown above) ~ developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson; the fragrances feature black pepper, bergamot, bay leaves, clary sage, cinnamon, rumwood, leather, benzoin, cedar and patchouli; the Intense version also has notes of African geranium and incense. Bentley for Men is in 60 ($70) and 100 ($92) ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products; Bentley for Men Intense in 100 ml Eau de Toilette ($107).

Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition

Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition ~  a limited edition (999 bottles) developed by perfumer Mylène Alran, with notes of wood, leather and orris butter. 40 ml for $4,650.

    The Lalique version sounds lovely, but for 4K or a a new car (let’s assume they can be persuaded to throw it in as a freebie if you buy a Bentley)? Umm…

    I don’t get why someone would want to smell like a expensive brand of cars that they can’t afford, it’s not like it’s superniche like the cars, except for Porsche Design clothes probably but no their fragrances, ugh… 🙂

      and the notes are like: “let’s throw every other mainstream ingredient used in perfumery in the last ten years… randomly”

      Doesn’t seem any different to me than clothing designers or celebrities…people like name brands even when they can’t afford the couture or lifestyle.
