UK-based perfumer Ruth Mastenbroek launched Amorosa, her second fragrance, earlier this year:
Ruth Mastenbroek's magnificent new floral chypre is a personal tribute to the scents of her home and garden in Italy. Extremely complex and full-bodied it resonates with the freshness, fragrance and passion of the South.
Fruity green top notes include the bitter tang of galbanum, violet leaf and the crisp dark rind of watermelon. The lavishly white floral heart is an extravagant bouquet of tuberose, jasmine, tiare and ylang ylang. At the earthy spicy base is a rich accord of vetiver, patchouli and powdery sweet amber.
Ruth Mastenbroek Amorosa is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be ordered directly from the brand website or from Les Senteurs in London.

I haven’t tried this one yet, but I love her original eponymous fragrance, which is also a chypre, but not as floral. IMO, it’s the best contemporary chypre on the market. Wish they would distribute in the U.S.!
Thanks, good to know!
I like this one (a friend gave me a decant) but I couldn’t describe it off the top of my head, nor could I say what would differentiate it from other abstract pretty perfumes of recent vintage (Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy, for instance.) Pretty, but I’m not trekking to London for it.
Another thanks…I have a sample but haven’t tried it yet.
