Six Scents Verde & Incense by the Sea ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 28 September 2012 6 Comments

Six Scents Verde & Incense by the Sea

Late last year, Six Scents launched two new limited edition fragrances in collaboration with The Standard Spa in Miami: Verde and Incense by the Sea. Both fragrances were developed by perfumer David Apel.

Verde ~ "...a perfume evoking a lush tropical rain dripping down from green leaves. Scents of palm fronds, ferns, trailing vines, as well as sea moss and lush white flowers, crisp green galbanum resin and elegant dried iris roots wrapped with orchids, jasmine and enlivened by sparkling bergamot and lemon. Anchored by a frame of blond woods and touches of shiso leaf and lavender add a pungent surprise."

Incense by the Sea ~ "...a mystical veil of incense floating on notes of the sea with minerality and salty woody warmth. Touches of drenched humid greens from the garden "walls." Incense (Olibanum), Teak Wood, Sea Salt, Leafy and Violet Greens."

Six Scents Verde and Incense by the Sea are available in 15 ml, concentration unknown, $35 each, at The Standard hotel chain's online store.

Wow, the incense sounds very nice, and in a sensible size at a great price. Triple win!

Yes, wish they’d do all the Six Scents series this way!

Incense By the Sea is my favorite of the two. Nice and salty, yet…smoky. A great combo.

I’m always up for trying another incense scent, though these both sound sniff-worthy.

They do sound worth trying. And cute little bottles, too!
