Fabulous 1 (above front center) ~ floral chypre. "The famous lips bottle Salvador Dali designed is bedazzled in gold to celebrate the first and legendary Dali fragrance, a feminine scent with harmonious floral blends of rose and jasmine, and a particularly sophisticated Chypre side. For this limited edition, the fragrance has been reformulated into a richer, more intense eau de parfum." With notes of bergamot, clove, rose, jasmine, mimosa, patchouli, cedar, vanilla, sandalwood, frankincense, musk and amber.
Fabulous 2 (above, second to left) ~ fruity floral. "One of the greatest Parfums Salvador Dali classics, Dalissime Eau de Toilette’s apricot and peach fruity notes have captivated many women. Four fragrances launched today called Fabulous; these three and Isaac Mizrahi. That is an unfortunate record 🙂
Hey, you missed one! There are 4 of these, so the total for today is 5 🙂
The PR people in both companies must be climbing the walls. Nice collection from Dali, that’s a good way of re-introducing the older fragrances, but the price is steep.
I don’t know — it’s not like Mizrahi’s scent will be in the Roja Dove Haute Perfumery, nor will the Dali scents be in Bloomies.
120 pounds for Salvador Dali Perfumes????
Yep!
harrods have been selling these for a few months now so not really “launched today”. they are now EDP’s and a lot stronger and more complex.
Fabulous 3 is my favourite – love it so much i bought it on the spot! Loved fabulous 4 too but its a dead ringer for Tom Ford Tuscan leather (though it was in existence long before TFs version and is half the price of Tuscan Leather so cant really complain about the price for 100ml of EDP) (especially on a harrods 10% off day 🙂 )
Did not say anywhere that they were launched today, nor did I mean to imply that they were.
LOL not you Robin, the first comment was about it being “unfortunate” that 5 perfumes called “fabulous” were launching on same day – Was just clarifying that it isn’t – as they aren’t!
Oh, gotcha! I thought you were complaining about my late news. Which actually you might as well, I’m frequently late.
Oh, this could be really interesting…so far, I like the notes of all of them…but $ 120? Then they have to be really amazing…
I’m afraid in dollars that would be closer to $190!
Aw man, I want that gold lips bottle so bad! But £120 for Dalí? Sheesh.
Wow!
