Banana Republic Wildblue ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 5 June 2012 2 Comments

Banana Republic Wildblue

Banana Republic has launched Wildblue, a new fragrance for men:

Inspired by the heroic blues of fresh desert air, coastal wood and aquatics, Wildblue offers an energetic blend of color and scent with a refreshing splash of masculinity.

The Wildblue man lives life to the fullest in a world of possibility. He captivates those he meets with his clever, stylish, and daring aura. His charming and relaxed personality is the epitome of the man who is one with nature.

[...] The fragrance evokes the limitless freedom of a sweeping sky, with a blend of fresh desert air accord, rich sage, driftwoods and masculine dewy-green vetiver.

Wildblue was developed by perfumer Jean-Claude Delville, who also created the brand's Classic, Wildbloom and W fragrances. Notes for Wildblue include aquatic notes, desert air accord, sage, white tea, driftwood, beach cedar, vetiver and musk.

Banana Republic Wildblue is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, $45.

So far, i have only really liked Cordovan from the mens offerings. I think the vetiver note in this one is going to make or break it for me.

That image looks like a complete photoshop rendering of the bottle rather than an actual photograph, but i like the vibrant blue juice.

You’re probably right — it does look extra shiny & blue.
