Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday, May 13th! If you missed it, check out part 1 and part 2 of our gift series for 2012.
From Pacifica, The Gold Collection Custom Spray gift set: "Choose your own fragrances! Three of Pacifica's beloved fragrances in fun, fresh and fantastic Spray Perfumes. From Nest, the Sir Elton John Woodside Garden Candle: "A sophisticated and unique arrangement of notes from Sir Elton John's favorite flowers: hyacinth, freesia, rose, and jasmine, which he grows in his garden at Woodside in Old Windsor, UK." $38 at Neiman Marcus.
At left, from Anné Pliska, a body cream in the line's signature scent: "Anné Pliska's new fresh body créme combines sparkling bergamot citrus and warm vanilla undertones. A light textured créme leaves your skin silky and delicately scented." $40 at Luckyscent. At right, Estée Lauder Sensuous Nude Body Veil: "An extravagantly lush, richly-scented body moisturizer. Smooth it on all over to create an irresistible veil of soothing moisturizing care that leaves skin touchably soft and fragrant." $46 at Estée Lauder.
From Roger & Gallet, limited edition collector bottles inspired by a flask Napoleon Bonaparte reportedly used to carry Eau de Cologne in his boot. Available in Eau de Cologne, Bois d’Orange and Fleurs d’Osmanthus, $65 each for 100 ml at Parfum1.
From Prada, Body Powder + Puff in the L'Eau Ambrée fragrance. $36 at Fragrancenet.
From Tokyo Milk, the Sweet Escape Mother's Day Collection in the Honey & The Moon No. 10 fragrance. Includes Eau de Parfum, Bon Bon Shea Butter Rich Lotion and Botanica Mini Soaps Trio. $56 at Tokyo Milk.
I still have 2 weeks more than you there in US, as we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 26th.
From what is presented here, Prada powder looks glorious and Tokyo Milk sets seem lovely.
I think I’ll stick with Prada Candy decant for my Mummy.
Today I just grabbed samples of new edition of Marc Jacobs Rain, Hibiscus and Qumquat! Rain smells best for both of us, so we consider to buy & share it. This new edition 100ml EdT has a reasonable pricing, ~50$.
I would love to have that Prada powder, although in all truth I’d probably use it only rarely.
Already got mom something for mother’s day but her birthday is in June so that powder might be just the thing. She loves scented powders and they are harder to find than they used to be.
Oh, I bet they are harder to find. It’s a tempting price, too.
Does the Elton John candle really have a good scent? I mean I love rose and jasmine as candle but I really hated the Elton John Christmas candle…
I’ve seen some nice reviews (here is one: http://thebeautyalchemist.blogspot.com/2012/03/sir-elton-johns-woodside-garden-candle.html) but I have not smelled it myself, sorry!
