L’Occitane Eaux de Provence ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 4 May 2012 9 Comments

L'Occitane Eaux de Provence

L'Occitane will introduce a new cologne collection, Eaux de Provence, in June. The collection includes three fragrances: Eau Ravissante for women, Eau Universelle for men and women and Eau Captivante for men. All three fragrances were inspired by the aromas of Provence.

Eau Ravissante ~ a floral with notes of flower petals, citrus, rose, amber and musk.

Eau Universelle ~ a citrus with bergamot, grapefruit, geranium and woods.

Eau Captivante  ~ an aromatic with bergamot, lime, mint, basil and woods.

L'Occitane Eau Ravissante, Eau Universelle and Eau Captivante will be available in 50 or 300 ml Cologne Fraïche.

I’m already in love with Universelle and Captivante! There’s a small L’Occitane shop in my university town, I wonder if they’ll have them soon.

I am not in love with anything I haven’t smelled, but will give these a shot! Wish L’Occitane did more travel sized bottles though.

Out of all the notes listed ‘mint’ was the one note that made me choose the one I think I would love the most!

The men’s does sound arguably the most interesting. We’ll see!

“Lime Mint Basil” sounds to me gourmand Asian ! I wonder if it’s citric fresh , cool and menthol or spicy robust ? ?

These sound worthy of a sniff at my local shop. The grapefruit in Universelle makes me a bit wary as does the mint in the men’s. If the mint is not toothpaste-y then we may have a winner. I rather imagine Ravissante will smell ‘nice’ in pretty ,inoffensive way. As you say, we’ll see!

I am guessing they’ll all be pretty light, so could be that grapefruit & mint won’t be a problem. But yes, we’ll have to wait!

These sound lovely and there is a shop about 20 minutes away – might be worth the trip!
