San Francisco perfumer Yosh Han collaborated with Polish director Grzegor Jarzyna to create an unsettling blood-like scent to be pumped into the theater throughout the premiere of his avant-garde production of "Nosferatu" in Warsaw next month. Working with a lab in Italy, Han found just the right "revolting and radical" formula for the task - a combination of blood orange, patchouli, sandalwood, smoke and leather.
