Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 November 2011 15 Comments

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina

Salvatore Ferragamo will launch Signorina, a new perfume for women, in February. Signorina is meant to be an "olfactory celebration of chic girls" and to be "fresh, sophisticated and subtly cheeky".

Signorina was developed by perfumers Sophie Labbé and Juliette Karagueuzoglou; notes for the fruity floriental include blackcurrant, pink pepper, jasmine, peony, rose, patchouli, panna cotta and musk.

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.

Bottles – cute. Juice – UGH!..The words “clean” and “fresh” are really getting on my nerves…or maybe I am just old and grouchy (I haven’t had coffee yet)…

Agreed. The bottle is ADORBALE but from that description the juice will be meh at best – and not at all a reflection of ‘chic girls’!

I do like that ribbon. The cap, no.

Well, patch is in everything these days — it’s probably very light. But I’m no “chic girl” either :-)

Beautiful vintage looking bottle but the script/font ruins it for me.

Yeah, the script is not a good choice.

I think the ribbons’ configuration is supposed to emulate the grosgrain ribbons on the toes of Ferragamo shoes. I’m not happy with the script and the cap either. The cap should be smaller and the signature font should match the perfume’s name.

I respect that it’s called Signorina and they’re marketing for the young girls. Good for them for making it fruity. I would be annoyed if they called it Signora with the same notes and strategy :-)

I was going to say more or less what you wrote. :-)

Panna Cotta is an edible so this must be somewhat of a gourmand?

My son’s SO likes the SF scents, so this might be a good Xmas possibility for her.

I rather liked their original scent, but the subsequent ones have been a little too much of a muchness for me.

J’ADORE!!!!!!!!!!!! That Bottle is BEYOND TRES BELLE! Loving It For Life! The Notes seem to be interesting, nothing miraculous or anything but you really cannot go TOO Wrong with Black Currant, Jasmine, Rose, Peony and Musk, Now can you? Already on the Must Buy List!

I hate this trend of pink, pink, pink, and oh, some more pink. It’s like some endless yet terminal illness – especially when you mix pink with Hello Kitty.
