Smell Bent North by Northwest

Indie line Smell Bent has launched the North by Northwest collection:

Totem Eclipse (Of The Heart) ~ "your spirit quest is just beginning. western red cedar accented with champaca, skunk cabbage, evergreen, and earthy, vegetal musk. wake up and smell the totem."

Werewolf Lumberjack ~ "logger by day, were-stud by night! oversexed wolf musk sprayed atop a pile of freshly cut timber. every night’s a full moon."

Shewolf ~ "mama told you not to let were-trash in the house. sweet citrus, candied patchouli, dry cedar, and oodles of vulgar vanilla’d musk. she’s the leader of the pack!"

Mountain High ~ "hippies in the mist! fresh cannabis with balsam fir, lavender, vanilla extract, tonka, patchouli and sandalwood. granola not included."

Otter Luvr ~ "dedicated to all the otters. bay, oakmoss, algae absolute, natural ambergris, castoreum, sweet resins and musk. jump in - the water’s fine!"

The Smell Bent North by Northwest fragrances are available in 8 ml Perfume Oil, 4 or 50 ml Eau de Toilette. They can be purchased at the Smell Bent website. (via newsletter from Smell Bent)

I am so curious about Otter Luvr, but the musk in this line tends to knock me down. I can just about imagine that Lumberjack…..

Seems like I would enjoy the fragrance descriptions more than the fragrances themselves!

On the other hand, as a North-westerner I need to buy the whole pack, uh-oh… :)

I love Brent and his work – although, of course, I can’t wear every Smell Bent scent, I have tons of them (Smell Bent is neck-and-neck with Guerlain in my collection) and think his perfumes are so imaginative.

I have been debating getting this pack and should probably just go for it….

No it isn’t! I’d owe him the soul of my firstborn within a month!

I too am a huge fan of Brent, and because of the friendly prices S.B makes up 70% of my fledgling perfume collection. I have a sample pack of the new smells on the way. Otter Luvr really caught my attention.
I googled ‘Castoreum” and was equally shocked and amused. But I loved Untitled and Werewolf. What a cheeky collection.
