I just tried this yesterday and don’t know if I find it romantic exactly. Clean and confident for sure, but more pretty and beguiling in that sense rather than invoking the urge to steal a kiss. Balenciaga Paris definitely falls into the stealing kisses category for me, though. That juice is wonderfully sexy in an almost aloof sort of way.
I would call it romantic more than sexy, I guess.
I am really looking forward to this one.
Slightly off-topic – Robin, what happened to the Monday Mail thread? One minute it was here, now it’s nowhere in sight…
Not sure what you mean — it’s still there, just no longer on the front page:

I find this fragrance quite beautiful.
I really appreciated the texture of Baiser Volé, the petals dusty with golden pollen, and the leaves and setms casting a bitter green shadow on the sweet prettiness.
I’m not sure the lily soliflore is a concept I feel like buying FB, and I miss the lack of development – but overall I find this fragrance really beautifully made.
Yes, it is a very pretty fragrance and one where I didn’t have to go through the whole “this would be perfect if only…” thought process while sniffing. It is just lovely as is and truly a gorgeous take on the lily.
It’s quite well done. Not at all sure I would call it a lily soliflore, although to the extent that it is one, it’s hardly the first — don’t know why she said that.
I can hardly wait to try this, absolutely love lily fragrances, Donna Karan’s Gold, D&G Feminine (discontinued), Malle’s Lys Mediterranee, Estee Lauder’s Silver…
Had a sample of this that I wore on Sunday. I thought it pretty enough. My husband kept telling me how much he liked it and asked for the name. Then asked what it means in English. And then asked who is was by and what the bottle looked like. Something tells me I may be receiving a bottle of this someday.
Aha…sounds like it!
This was love at first sniff-totally surprising because I usually don’t wear lily-type scents (lily usually gives me a migraine) but this one didn’t, it was very pretty soft and subtle. I really like the bottle too…
I must be in the minority, but I did not like this fragrance at all!
It smelled like lily-scented chemicals on me, and completely artificial.
Hugs!
