Superdry Dry, Double Dry and Dry Oil ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 9 September 2011 14 Comments

Superdry Dry, Double Dry and Dry Oil

British casual-wear brand Superdry has launched three new fragrances for men: Dry, Double Dry and Dry Oil. There are plans for two more men's fragrances later this year, and a women's fragrance next year.

Dry ~ "Dry by Superdry is a rich aromatic woody fragrance that combines a vibrant top note of bergamot, red fruits, lemon and grapefruit with subtle cooling eucalyptus. The heart is infused with warm spicy cardamom, fiery pink pepper and the subtlety of rose and complemented with a powerful fusion of woods and musks at the base." Additional notes include cedar, patchouli, vetiver, amberwood and cashmere musk. In Eau de Toilette.

Double Dry ~ "Double Dry by Superdry combines a fresh burst of bergamot, Sicilian mandarin and clean frozen grapefruit with a heart of aromatic juniper and a base of rosewood, musk and incense for a rich scent." Additional notes for the fresh citrus fragrance include rosemary and oakmoss. In Eau de Toilette.

Dry Oil ~ "Dry Oil by Superdry combines a striking fougere accord with vanilla notes. Built around a fusion of lavender and iris, the vanilla accord is supported with cedarwood and patchouli and sweetened with ambrette seed, coumarin and musks." Additional notes include lemon, petitgrain, cypress, cardamom and neroli. In dry oil.

Superdry Dry, Double Dry and Dry Oil are available in 100 ml, and can be found now at Selfridges in the UK, £55 each.

It does. And don’t think men get many fragrances in that format.

None of them are really calling to me, but I’ll give them a shot if I see them — I do know they’re coming to the US, but I don’t know where.

I love the bottles. I hope they keep the leather on the bottles for the women’s fragrance!

Suspect they’ll girl up the women’s packaging, but we’ll see.

I didnt know dry oil was the format as well as the name of the fragrance. After researching it, it doesnt seem like you would want something like that on your skin or your clothes.

The dry oil sounds FANTASTIC, and this packaging is making me feel deeply needy and impulsive.

Am I the only one for whom the names make my skin itch? Or think that I need a drink? The next one better not be Superduper Dry, We Really Mean It! Or Arid and Dry? Or Low Humidity. . .heh! That rolls of the tongue nicely! 😛
