The final commercial for Jean Paul Gaultier's new Kokorico. The model is Jon Kortajarena. If you missed it, here's the making of.
Below the jump, another making of, in which machines spit out the Kokorico flacons. Kind of fun to watch.

The most anticipated fragrance launch for men of the season!!!
Hope it delivers.
I hope so too. It would be a shame to waste that bottle.
Well, isn’t the “making of” video much more captivating than the commercial?
In some ways it is! But I think this does a nice job of conveying the “rooster” message.
Robin, willl the cologne be coming out in the U.S next month? I hope they don’t do what they did to Le Male Terrible!
This is a huge launch for them, so I’m going to be surprised if this isn’t much more widely distributed than Le Male Terrible. BUT, I don’t know if they’re planning to have it here in Sept, sorry!
I’m beyond pissed! I just went to the website and if you click on French it goes to the website and shows you the video and the notes and bottle, etc. Then, you click on English and it says “Coming March 2012”!!!!! I hate it when they do that!
Aha. Well, that’s a shame.
Watching the bottle rotate at the end of the first commercial and transform from one shape into the other is FREAKY. Like some sort of computer-generated impossibility. That is genius packaging design right there. God, I hope the contents live up to the promise.
It’s brilliant. I hope that if the juice is terrible, they re-use the packaging for something else.
I am not kidding when I say that I would be very tempted to buy it no matter what it smells like, just to be able to have that bottle on my dresser. (It looks opaque so the contents should be safe, if the scent is any good.)
The first video is sort of silly- all the flying feathers and such. However, I love the second one where they make the bottle. Always been transfixed with factories and how they make stuff. Rube-Goldberg type assembly/machine lines and such. The bottle is just interesing enough to lure me into trying it. Except I did originally think the bottle was like a round head, not a flat one.
Many people are going to buy it for the bottle, I’m sure.
The second video seems to be an ad for the glass manufacturer, not for JPG.
You are right but it is the only picture of the bottle from the side. This side view is a new rendition of the classic JPG male torso bottle shape that is simply genius. I wonder why they decided to mute down this amazing aspect of the product in the commercial? Are they targeting to a new audience with this one?
Definitely buying this just for the bottle!
