Aftelier Haute Claire ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 10 July 2011 10 Comments

Aftelier Haute Claire

Indie natural line Aftelier will launch Haute Claire in July:

This name suggested by Nathan Branch refers to a famous sword from 12th century French literature. Haute Claire is both crisp and soft, cool and warm. The fresh edgy greenness of galbanum is offset by the creamy floral of ylang ylang edged with honeysuckle. The green and floral notes harmonize in perfect pitch, with neither dominating the other. A warm base of vetiver and vanilla provides a soft finish of sweet grass.

Additional notes include lime, sweet orange and clary sage.

Aftelier Haute Claire will be available in 30 ml Eau de Parfum ($150). (via press release)

Oh, this sounds lovely! Wish her fragrances weren’t so spendy…

The EdPs are better though. But yeah, still spendy.

I wonder how she created a honeysuckle note without syhthetics. I don’t think there’s a natural extract.

Using a blend of other notes, I’d guess. Or, it’s a ylang with honeysuckle undertones. Possibilities are many 🙂

Very pretty sounding indeed! I’m trying not to sample the spendy ones right now – budget issues – but I may not be able to resist!

Dreamy elixir! My last perfume was recen;ty for summer Profumo Aqua Viva which was an immense disappointment. As well as an arm and a leg, gah! Please enter me into your promising draw.
