Donna Karan has launched DKNY Men Summer 2011 (shown above left; see the women's DKNY Summer here). The limited edition summer fragrance is described as "a bold contrast of freshness and woods".
The notes include white pepper, ginger, key lime zest, pomegranate, oolong tea, geranium, carrot juice, vetiver, oakmoss, orris and ambergris.

Giorgio Armani has launched the 2011 limited edition summer versions of Armani Code for women and men. Please note that they sound virtually identical to the 2010 versions, so perhaps they are unchanged.
Armani Code Summer for Men 2011 (shown above right) features bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, neroli, olive leaf, aquatic notes, rose, tarragon, moss, cedar, amber and gaiac wood.
Armani Code Summer for Women 2011 (not shown) features neroli, orange, frosted pear sorbet, orange blossom, jasmine, ginger, crystalline cyclamen, vanilla, precious white woods and musk.
The Armani Code Summer fragrances are available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette. (via veraclasse.it)
I wish they would make seasonal fragrances in smaller sizes…I like the features of Armani Code Summer for Men 2011, but I don’t want 2.5 oz. of it…I’d be willing to buy one ounce (30 ml.) but not 2.5 oz (75 ml.).
That’s a really good idea. And, I would think, more economical. I’d be more likely to buy, anyway.
Totally agree.
Code seems so not-summery to me that it seems funny to make a summer version somehow. If I see it I’ll try it – I kind of liked Code, although I never had more than a sample.
carrot juice?
how odd
that reminds me how a friend of mine once thought that Dior Higher smells like carrot juice. at least, from the tester.
LOVE the DKNY bottle and packaging.
